 “Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when He said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

Discipleship is at the heart of why we were called to Mozambique as a family in 2015! Our mission is to release peace wherever we are, go out and send others the same way Jesus was by the Father, to allow the Holy Spirit to breathe on all we do, and extend forgiveness!

Compelled Ones long term vision is to see a movement of disciple-making disciples among the unreached people of Mozambique.

Since moving among the Yawo in 2017 our family has learned to walk as neighbors. Serving them through; learning the language, binding up their wounds, sharing in their joy, grief, and meals. Day after day we shared the story of Jesus Christ with our neighbors and the Kingdom of God has now come! In 2020 we began to witness some of the first men, women, and children of the Yawo in our region encounter and receive Jesus as their Messiah.

Now, we are witnessing thousands coming to follow Jesus, being baptized, and making disciples! Currently, the flood of God’s love has planted over 120 discipleship groups, in over 100 villages, spanning 100 miles in distance. The momentum we are witnessing is staggering and unprecedented among this people group!
