The Gennari Family
Ian and Carla Gennari were married in December 1999 with dreams of making a Kingdom impact overseas somewhere.
Little did Ian and Carla know it would be a 15 year wait before entering the mission field! God has blessed Ian and Carla with three boys; Tobiah, Jaidan, and Gideon. Ian was a P.E. teacher/business entrepreneur turned Music Missionary (Musicianary), and Carla is a registered Nurse also certified in Hospice and Palliative care, as well as community faith nursing.
The desire of the Gennari’s hearts from the beginning has been to see God’s kingdom come on earth. Together they have led bible studies, ministered with inner city youth, started food banks, helped plant a church, served on prayer and inner healing teams, co-led college ministry, taught and led worship around the United States and South America.
In 2013 Ian and Carla walked away from a very successful business that had run from 2005 allowing them to work together full time. After the death of Carla’s Father and Mother she felt the Lord drawing her back into nursing in the field of Hospice care. At the same time Ian felt it was finally time to walk into a music calling that had been on his life for over a decade. He also left the business and on faith began ministering as a music missionary full time.
During this transition Jesus began to stir back up in their hearts the call to missions. Most of the time the family would drive to the ministry destinations with Ian and serve and minister to the people together. The stories of seeing the power, love, and miracles of Jesus touch and heal many in different places began to grow. On a trip to Guyana…
